About
The Innovation Center of Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design is set to host its third Future Materials Conference on 7-8 November 2024, in Budapest, Hungary. This conference will serve as a gathering point for designers, researchers, industry representatives, and students to explore and discuss the latest trends in material research and the materials industry. Through a mix of lectures, discussions, and workshops, the event will delve into the latest technologies and breakthroughs in material innovation.
‘From Advanced Craft towards Conscious Tech’
This year’s conference theme will investigate the connection of craftmanship and advanced technologies within the newest trends – on a micro and macro level. Our invited speakers will join from diverse sectors, including but not limited to fashion, architecture, packaging, automotive industry, and more. The showcased projects will range from early-stage experimental projects to ones that are marketable, on the market, or may even be close to mass production.
