Conference
Theme
This year’s conference theme, ‘From Advanced Craft towards Conscious Tech’ will investigate the connection of craftmanship and advanced technologies within the newest trends – on a micro and macro level. The showcased projects will range from early-stage experimental projects to ones that are marketable, on the market, or may even be close to mass production.

10:00 – 12:00Track 1NATURE CRAFT: INTEGRATING LIFE INTO FUTURE FABRICATIONS iThis track explores the transformative power of designing with living systems, marking a shift from exploiting nature as a resource to collaborating with it in creative processes. By challenging conventional design methods, it promotes sustainable, co-creative approaches involving both human and non-human participants. The goal is to inspire a future where design practices are regenerative and aligned with the rhythms of nature, fostering a deeper harmony between human innovation and the natural world.Carla Paoliello Invited Assistant Professor, ISMAT/COFACAmérico Mateus Assistant Professor, ISMAT/COFACYuta Ikeya PhD Candidate, Eindhoven University of TechnologySvenja Keune Researcher, Swedish School of Textiles, University of BoråsStephen Harris Director, Full GrownPanel Discussion and Q&A
