Kombucha Bioplastic Fluff Bioplastic (2023)
The gelatine-based bioplastic samples are experiments, containing ingredients such as kombucha (SCOBY), bacterial cellulose, and textile waste, various fluff from cloth. This bioplastic material acts as a thermoplastic, depending on the exact ingredients and their proportions. The added extra materials give the materials character and strength and properties such as water repellency.
